Easy felting techniques and mixed media arts

Amy Bradshaw, a Kelowna based mixed media fibre artist, will be coming home for a visit. 

This workshop is designed to encourage a creative mindset while working with your hands for a couple of hours. Inspired by nature and natural materials; wool, wood, cord, shells, and other collected objects. Everyone will be led through the process of designing an artsy mobile. Amy will demonstrate how to make small felted shapes that can be incorporated into your design.

Optional materials to bring that can be incorporated:

Feel free to bring any charms, sticks, old keys, beads, or other objects you may like to add to your piece. A drill will be on hand to make a hole for the string if not already existing.

Please bring a small lunch or snack for midday, we will take a short break to experience the woods and river on the property.
